Product: LABEL MATRIX, LABELVIEW, CODESOFT

Version: All Versions

One reason that the software may give you unexpected errors is that your antivirus is blocking the software from performing its normal functions. If you have an antivirus and are having issues take the following steps to return any files that were blocked to full use:

  • Whitelist our product
    • This is done differently for each different antivirus but is necessary to use our software, especially if you have the latest version
  • Restore any items from Quarantine that were blocked
    • Just because the software is whitelisted doesn't mean it has restored all files that were removed before the whitelist. This needs to be done separately. Google how to do it for your specific antivirus

When it comes to whitelisting our products there are two main folders that should be whitelisted.

  • For LABEL MATRIX whitelist the following
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\LABEL MATRIX 20XX
    • C:\ProgramData\Tki
  • For LABELVIEW/CODESOFT whitelist the following
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Teklynx
    • C:\ProgramData\Teklynx

After whitelisting our software and restoring all files from quarantine we suggest a repair to ensure all files are back where they belong. The following article can assist with running the repair.

Another reason that the software could be getting blocked may be due to a firewall put in place that could be blocking communication to and from our servers.
