When trying to activate a license or launch the software, after being activated, there may be a message stating that the license needs access to the internet even though the workstation itself already has an internet connection. You can test this in License Manager > Settings > Test:
There are a couple of ports that need to be open along with the firewall.
- Ensure that access to www.braton.net is accepted.
- Also, Ports 80 and 443 must be open (proxy, firewall) While using a proxy, SSL requests and POST requests must be authorized.
Software Key Protection does not support Proxy with authentication. A license that requires an internet connection will not be compatible in such a case. A possible workaround is to use a Proxy management application.
*The license servers are located in France in case there is use of a Geo-Blocker*
The web addresses for our activation servers are:
- 79.98.18.61 (primary address) - www.braton.net
- 217.167.48.8 (backup to primary address) - nspbackup.net
You may also need to look into your antivirus to ensure that the software is not being blocked by that.
