This article explains how to perform an administrative repair for TEKLYNX software installations and Network License Utilities.
Administrative repairs can resolve issues related to:
- Damaged installation files
- Licensing issues
- Network licensing service problems
- Client workstation installation errors
Perform an Administrative Repair
1. Locate the TEKLYNX installation file for either:
- The client installation (single-user licensing or client workstation setup)
- The Network License Utilities installation (Network License Manager)
NOTE: Client installation files typically appear similar to the example below.

2. Launch the installer, select Repair, then continue through the installation wizard by clicking Next until the repair process begins.
NOTE: After repairing a single-user installation or client workstation installation, the software can be opened normally once the repair completes.
3. After repairing the Network License Utilities installation on the server, open the Network Toolbar and launch the License Service Controller to verify that the licensing service is running.
