1. To resolve this issue, perform an administrative repair on the Network License Utilities or the client installation file from the installation file by right-clicking on the installation file and selecting 'Run as Administrator'. The process is the same for either application, run the installation file and choose repair when the option appears.

NOTE: For the client installation file (single-user licensing or client workstation set-ups), you will see the file that looks like this:

NOTE: For the Network License Utilities install (Network License Manager) it will look like this: 

2. Select Repair and click Next through the wizard until the repair initializes.

NOTE: For single-user licensing/client installation repair, after the repair finishes you can open the software after completion.

For Network Licensing Utility/Network License Manager repairs: After you have repaired the network license utility on the server, open the Network Toolbar and open the License Service Controller and make sure the service is running.
