In order to be able to do this a database will need to be connected to the software. More information about connecting a database can be found here. Once the database is connected to the label, check the default folder for the images.
1. Go to Tools and select Configuration.
2. Find the Default Folders tab and look at the Images path. The folder path can either be updated to the location of the images or the images can be copied to this folder path. (If the path is changed all images that are being used will need to come from that location, even for other labels)
3. In the excel spreadsheet being used as the database, make sure there is a column that will be used for the Images. In this example it is called Image. Then for the entries into that column make sure that the exact name of the label file is entered. ("File Name".extension type)
4. To place the image onto the label, we need to select the database field representing the image and place it. If the Data Source pane is open right click on the Column Name and select Place. If the Data Source pane is not open, go to Data Source > Database > Database connection > Column Name > Place. On the label click to place image and select Image.
5. There should now be an image on the label. When you toggle between records it should change as the record changes.
6. If you do not want to worry about what folder the image is placed in, within excel the whole folder path can be entered for the image record.
7. This image is pulled from the path being entered into excel. Below the image is the path itself as a reference point. (This will not print out on the label)
