The Pick List option, available through the When Printed data source, simplifies data entry by providing a pre-configured list of values the operator can select at print time. This article contains instructions to create a custom Pick List. For help creating a Pick List using values from a database, please click here.

1. If you haven't already done so, go to View and enable the Data Sources panel.

2. Right-click When Printed and select Add.

3. Select the When Printed tab and input a Prompt. This text will be displayed in the Form at print time.

4. From the Pick List drop-down, select Local and click the  button.  

5. Add a Value by clicking the New (Insert) button. Repeat this step until all the desired options have been added. Click OK.

8. Check the Force Data to Come from the List checkbox.


 

9. Click OK to Finish. The Pick List will be accessible from the Form
