First, make sure you can see your data sources. Click on View>Data sources
1. Right-click on Table Lookup in the Data Sources tab select Add.
2. Select the Data Source, the table, and lastly the result field (field you want in the pick list).
3. Go to the Data Formatting tab and change the Record separator string to a caret (^).
4. Adjust the relevant records number to however many records from the column should be pulled into the software.
5. Click OK.
6. Right click on the When Printed data source and select Add.
7. Go to the When Printed tab. Give the Prompt a name that will show up on the Form at time of print.
8. In the Pick List drop-down select Variable and click the ellipsis (...)
9. Change the Item separator string to a caret (^) and highlight the variable to be displayed in the pick-list. Click OK.
10. If you do not want a blank first record, check the box labeled "Force data to come from the list". Click OK.
11. You will get a prompt stating a null value is not in the list and that it has been updated to the first record. Click OK.
12. Click Print and you will now see your picklist associated with the When Printed field that was created. Click OK.
