This article explains how to link images stored in a database to a label in LABEL MATRIX.

Prerequisite: Before completing these steps, you must already have a database connection configured in LABEL MATRIX. For instructions, see: How do I connect to a database in LABEL MATRIX?

Link Images to an Existing Database

1. Configure the default image folder by navigating to Tools > Setup > Directories.

2. Enable the Use Fixed Path option.

3. Enter the folder path where your images are stored, then click OK.

4. In your database, enter the image file name (including the file extension, such as .PNG, .BMP, or another supported format) in the appropriate field.

5. Open the Image Wizard from the left side of the LABEL MATRIX workspace.

6. On the Picture tab, select Database, choose the database field that contains the image file names, then click OK.

7. LABEL MATRIX retrieves the image specified in the database field and displays it on the label.
