1. Navigate to File > Label Properties. Alternatively, right-click on a blank section of the label and select Properties.
2. Click on the Database Tab and the click Add.
3. Click Next to continue with Normal Setup.
4. Click on File to browse out to the database location.
5. Select the database file you'd like to connect to and click Open.
6. If the database contains multiple tables, select the one you'd like to use and click Next to see the Records Analyzed. Click Next.
7. Select whether you'd like Sequential or Keyed Access and click Next.
8. Name the database connection. Click Finish.
NOTE: The database connection that was just established should now show up in the Database tab.
9. To add a field from the database to the label, add an object. In this example, we'll add Text.
10. Click on the Data tab. Change the Origin drop down to Database.
11. Select the database field you are looking to use and click Place.
The first record in that database field will appear on the label where it was placed.
