1. Navigate to File > Label Properties. Alternatively, right-click a blank area of the label and select Properties.
2. Click the Database tab and select Add.
3. Click Next to continue with Normal Setup.
4. Click File to browse to the database location.
5. Select the database file and click Open.
6. If the database contains multiple tables, select the desired table and click Next. Review Records Analyzed and continue.
7. Select either Sequential or Keyed Access, then click Next.
8. Name the database connection and click Finish.
NOTE: The database connection will now appear in the Database tab.
9. To add a database field to the label, insert an object. In this example, select Text.
10. Go to the Data tab and set Origin to Database.
11. Select the desired database field and click Place. The first record will display on the label.
