Product: LABEL MATRIX

Version: All Versions

In order to be able to print records from the database, the label must first be connected to a database. For more information on how to connect to a database in LABEL MATRIX, click here.

As we can see below this label is connected to a database.

When we compare the Database Properties to the label fields, we can ensure it is pulling the information.

1. In order to display the database records, click on the Data Grid button. It will display the database records in a separate window that opens underneath the label.

2. Individual records can now be selected and will populate the appropriate fields accordingly, as shown below. Select a record by clicking it, and the selected record will be highlighted.

3. With the record to print selected, we can now engage the print window. This can be done by going to File and selecting Print, or by clicking the Printer icon.

NOTE: Make sure to keep the Data Grid open when engaging the print in order to ensure that the single record will show up as Selected in the print window.

4. As shown below, the record is still chosen in the Data Grid and in the Print Window the option Selected has been chosen by default. Click OK to print the label tied to that single database record.
