NOTE: If a test or temporary license is currently activated, it must be deactivated before activating a new license.

LICENSE SERVER SETUP

Ensure the Network License Manager is installed on the license server before proceeding.

1. Open the Network Toolbar from Start > All Apps or search for Network Toolbar in the taskbar

Version 2019 & older:

2. Click License Upgrade, then select Activate.

Version 2019 & older:

3. Enter your Serial Number and Password, then click Next.

4. Enter your company information accurately. This is used for license recovery if needed. Click Next, then Finish.

5. Open the License Service Controller from the Network Toolbar.

Version 2019 & older:

6. Click Start to begin the license service. If an error occurs, Stop and then Start the service again.

CLIENT WORKSTATION SETUP

Ensure TEKLYNX software is installed on the client workstation. You do not need to install Network License Manager or activate licenses on client machines.

1. Launch Network Administration:
  • Start > All Programs > TEKLYNX [Product] > Network Administration
  • Or search for Network Administration in the taskbar

NOTE: For versions 2012 and earlier:

  • LABEL MATRIX: Tools > Setup > Network
  • LABELVIEW / CODESOFT: Tools > Network Administration

2. Enable Use Network License.

3. In Server Location, enter your server name with \\ at the front.

4. Click OK and launch the software.
