This method is for all TEKLYNX Network Products.

If the network license cannot be found, verify your Network Administration settings and confirm that the server is running.

First, verify the location where the network license is being hosted either on the server or the PC hosting the license.

1. Open the Network toolbar and click the License Service Controller.

2. Verify the license service is running.

3. If the service is running, check the sharing permissions on the TKDongle folder located in C:\ProgramData\TKI\License Manager.

4. Right click on the TKDongle folder and select Properties.

5. Select the Sharing tab, and click on Advanced Sharing.

6. Click Permissions.

7. Click Add.

8. Type the word "Everyone" in the box. Click OK.

9. Choose Everyone from the list of users, then verify that the Full Control permission is selected.

If the license server still cannot be found, go back to the affected workstation.

1. Launch the Network Administration from: Start -> TEKLYNX Product folder -> Network Administration.

2. Verify that the 'Use Network License / Network Key' checkbox has been enabled.

3. Verify that you have entered the correct server / PC name. Example: \\SERVER01

4. Open File Explorer and verify that the workstation can access the TKDongle Folder by entering the server's name in the address bar at the top. For example:

Our network licenses rely on folder file sharing. If the workstation cannot access or does not have permission to the TKDongle folder, it will be unable to locate a license.
