The following steps can be used to resolve a Hardware Fingerprint Error without contacting Customer Support. Administrator access, your Serial Number, and License Password will be required. If the issue persists, contact Customer Support at (414) 837-4800.

1. Locate and launch the License Manager as an administrator:
  • From the Start Menu, open your TEKLYNX software folder (e.g., CODESOFT, LABELVIEW, LABEL MATRIX), then open License Manager.
  • Right-click License Manager → select MoreRun as administrator.
  • Alternatively, search for License Manager in Windows search, right-click it, and choose Run as administrator.

2. Click Deactivate and continue until you receive confirmation that the license has been successfully deactivated. If the Deactivate option is not available, contact Customer Support.

3. Reopen the License Manager using the same administrator method described earlier.
4. Select Activate.

5. Enter your Serial Number and Password.

6. Enter or verify your company registration information, then click Next. Once activation is complete, click Finish.

7. Launch the software to confirm it opens successfully. If the issue persists, contact Customer Support at (414) 837-4800.
