For versions 2012 and older:
1. Within the software look for Tools and then select Network Administration.
For versions 2014 and higher:
2. Access the Network Administration by going to Start (Microsoft Window in lower left corner) and finding the TEKLYNX "Software" folder (in this example it is the TEKLYNX CODESOFT 2022). Expand the folder and look for the Network Administration option and open it up.
3. With the Network Administration window open, check the Use Network License. Make sure that the server location is entered correctly. NOTE: It should always have the two backslashes before the server or location name. Click Modify to see if the name of the server shows up as well.
If the server is not displayed in the list:
4. Click OK on the Network Administration display. Then close the software.
5 Browse to the CS.ini
Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Teklynx\[Product Name]
Windows 7 and Higher:
C:\ProgramData\Teklynx\[Product Name]
Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Teklynx\[Product Name]
Windows 7 and Higher:
C:\ProgramData\Teklynx\[Product Name]
6. Modify the ServerName line to read:
ServerName=\\servername
PathName=\TKDongle
ServerName=\\servername
PathName=\TKDongle
7. After making the updates, Save the text file. Then close the text file.
8. Open the software again.
