For versions 2012 and older:
1. Within the software, go to Tools and select Network Administration.
For versions 2014 and newer:
2. Open Network Administration from the Windows Start Menu.
Navigate to the TEKLYNX product folder (e.g., TEKLYNX CODESOFT 2025), expand it, and select Network Administration.
Navigate to the TEKLYNX product folder (e.g., TEKLYNX CODESOFT 2025), expand it, and select Network Administration.
3. In the Network Administration window:
- Check Use Network License
- Verify the Server Location is correct (must begin with \\)
- Click Modify to confirm the server appears in the list
If the server is not displayed:
4. Click OK, then close the software.
5. Navigate to the CS.ini file:
Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Teklynx\[Product Name]
Windows 7 and newer:
C:\ProgramData\Teklynx\[Product Name]
Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Teklynx\[Product Name]
Windows 7 and newer:
C:\ProgramData\Teklynx\[Product Name]
6. Edit the file and update the following lines:
ServerName=\\servername
PathName=\TKDongle
ServerName=\\servername
PathName=\TKDongle
7. Save and close the file.
8. Reopen the software and verify the connection.
