You may encounter this message when opening an older label in the newest version of LABEL MATRIX, LABELVIEW, or CODESOFT. This message confirms that once the label is saved in the newer version, it will no longer be able to be opened in the previous version.
TEKLYNX label design software is developed to be forward compatible by one version. This means that the software is designed to open labels created in a version of the software that is one major version lower than the current version (for example, version 24 to 25).
If you encounter issues with this type of conversion, please contact Technical Support for assistance. While conversion of labels created in versions more than one version older is often successful, successful conversion cannot be guaranteed.
