Additional Information
NOTE: This article uses LABELVIEW 2025 and CODESOFT 2025 as examples. CODESOFT uses the same default folder structure. In versions earlier than 2019, the product year was included in the folder name (for example, LABELVIEW 2018).
LABEL MATRIX uses a different interface but follows the same concept. A typical default path is:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\TKI\LABEL MATRIX
Summary
The "Default Folder path is not valid" error indicates that LABELVIEW or CODESOFT cannot access a configured folder location. The most common causes are missing folders, renamed locations, changed drive mappings, or insufficient permissions. Verify the configured path, restore access, or update the configuration to a valid folder location to resolve the issue.
