There are many different barcode types which will not display the Check Digit Character by default; for all of them the same solution can be used.
In this example, We will be using a UPC-A barcode.

1. Open up the properties of the barcode by double-clicking on the barcode. This can also be done by right clicking the barcode and then left clicking the barcode and choosing Properties.

2. In the Code Tab, click on the Human Readable drop down.

3. Look for the check box next to "Include the check character".

4. Click the Check box "Include the check character"

5. Click anywhere outside the Human Readable drop down for it to collapse. Then Click OK.

6. The barcode should now display the check digit.
