Product: LABELVIEW, CODESOFT
Version: All Versions
This article explains how to configure label stock, page setup, label dimensions, margins, and page layout using the Label/Page Setup window in LABELVIEW and CODESOFT.
Open Label/Page Setup
Configure Stock Settings
If a Type and Name are provided, the stock configuration can be saved and reused later. If left blank, the settings can still be used but will not be saved for future selection.
Configure Label Settings
NOTE: The Media dropdown is printer-driver dependent and may not be available for all printers.
Increasing the corner roundness value gradually changes square corners into rounded corners. High values can create a circular label shape.
Configure Page Settings
The page can be set to Automatic Sizing, which matches the page dimensions to the label dimensions. Alternatively, page dimensions can be entered manually if they differ from the label size.
You can also select either Portrait or Landscape orientation.
Configure Margins
Margins can be configured using Printer Default, which uses values supplied by the printer driver, or entered manually.
In many label-printing environments, margins are typically set to zero.
Save the Label Setup
If no Type or Name was entered on the Stock tab, a confirmation message will appear.
Select Yes to continue using the setup without saving it. If a Type and Name were specified, the configuration will be saved and available for future use.
