1. Click Label/Page Setup on the top ribbon or right click on the blank label and select Label/Page Setup.
2. The Stock tab has some predefined stock setups to choose from. However you can always enter your own Type and Name to create a custom stock to choose at a later date. The Type and Name can also be left blank but will not save those dimensions and layout as a choice to use later.
3. The Label tab is where the label size can be modified. Depending on the printer that is being used there may be a Media drop down. Choose the description that best matches the label stock being used. (The Media drop down is dependent on the printer)
4. The Label Size is where the Width and Height can be adjusted.
5. Corner Roundness will take the corners from hard square edges to rounded corners. Setting the corner roundness high enough can create a round label.
6. The Number of Labels section can be set if the label stock has more than one label per page.
7. The Page tab will allow you to set the Page to Automatic Sizing, which will follow the same sizing as the Label dimensions. It can also be manually edited if the Page size is different than that of the Label. Here is where the label can be set to Portrait or Landscape mode as well.
8. The Margins tab can either be set to Printer Default and the margins will be set dependent on the printer driver selected, or can be entered manually. Most often these are zeroed out.
9. Once all tabs have been set, click OK in the Label/Page Setup. If there was no Type or Name set in the Stock Tab, a message will appear like the below image. You can still use the setup that was created it will not save it for use at a later time. Here you can click Yes. If the setup was given a Type/Name the setup will then be saved for future use.
