View modes
To modify the appearance of information in your document, select the desired view mode in the View menu (Mode command) or on the View toolbar. For example, you can display or hide variable values, zoom in on part of the document, display a grid, and so on.
The View toolbar allows different document element display modes to be selected quickly.
- Name: Variable names are displayed in the document. This option can also be accessed by selecting View and choosing Mode from the menu.
- Size: Variable sizes are displayed. The space occupied by the content of the variable is represented by a series of Xs. This option can also be accessed by selecting View and choosing Mode from the menu.
- Content: Variable values are displayed in the document. This option can also be accessed by selecting View and choosing Mode from the menu.
- Form: The variables are displayed in the Form. This option can also be accessed by selecting View and choosing Mode from the menu.
- Display Objects and Data sources views. This option is also available from selecting View and choosing Objects or View and choosing Data sources respectively.
- Zoom is used to enlarge or reduce object detail. This option can also be accessed by selecting View and choosing Zoom from the menu.
