1. Go to File and select Printer Setup.
2. Select the printer to be renamed. Click the Connection button.
NOTE: You can only edit a printer that was installed via LABEL MATRIX. LABEL MATRIX printers will have (X) or (L) in front of the printer name. Printers can be given an alias name in LABEL MATRIX so that it is easier for print users to recognize the printer being used. Any printer that has a (W) in front of it would require a name change through the Control Panel > Devices and Printers
3. In the Alias text box, enter the desired printer name. Click OK.
The entered Alias will now show up for that printer connection.
