ERROR 1800 comes up when a file that the label is using is not found in the current directories of the software. ERROR 1800 will state the exact file it is missing, including the extension of the file.
In order to resolve the issue, locate the missing file on the system by searching the computer for that file. Once the file is located, copy the file into correct directory of that file type in LABELVIEW.
For example, suppose the label is missing a file called test.txt. Once that file is found, copy it into the TXT folder in LABELVIEW. The LABELVIEW directories can be found under Options > Directories.
After the missing file has been copied into the correct folder, you simply need to open the label again in the software and the label should now open correctly.
- Labels created in LABELVIEW can have outside files that are linked to the label. If one of those files is not specified in the software, ERROR 1800 indicates that a file used with the label is missing and you can browse for it.
