True Type fonts include many characters as extended ASCII codes. For example, to enter é, hold down the Alt key and then type 0233 on the numeric keypad on the right of the keyboard. You cannot use the numbers along the top row of the keyboard.
There are many other characters available in the ASCII code set. For additional information on other characters accessible through True Type fonts. In older versions of Windows you can access the Windows Character Map by clicking Start > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map.
1. In Windows 10 if you click on the Start button (Windows Icon in the lower left hand corner) and start typing Character Map, it should show an app you can open.
2. Launch the app and it should display the Character map like below.
NOTE: Different languages have special character accents that may be required in certain label designs. Using the character map allows for these special characters in TEKLYNX software.
