1. Go to Data Sources, select Advanced and choose Add. If the Data Source window is open on the right hand side the Advanced variable can be highlighted and right click to select Add.

2. If you would like to name the variable you can edit the Name. In the Value box, enter the text and add the formatting commands to the words, or groups of words that are to be formatted in a particular style. Once all text and formatting are entered click OK.

3. Go back to Data Sources, select Advanced, select the name of the Variable and choose Place. Again, this can be done within the Data Sources window if it is open on the right hand side. Highlight the Advanced variable name then right click and select Place.

4. Click on the label where you would want the text to appear and choose Text.

5. Go to Tools and select Tagged Texts Management.

6. For Data Source Name, choose the Advanced variable name from the drop down list.

7. For the Text Object Name, select the largest numbered Text object. For example if there is Text1, Text2, and Text3 listed you would choose Text3 as it is the latest text object created.

8. Click the Green Check box to apply the changes.

10. A text box should appear stating that CODESOFT is "Running script successfully". Click OK.

11. Close the Tagged text management window.

12. The text on the label should now be formatted as dictated by what was entered into the Advanced variable.
