Product: LABEL MATRIX

Version: All Versions

The following steps can only be performed for Extended Printer Drivers added within LABEL MATRIX. For more information on adding an extended printer driver click here.

1. Go to File and select Printer Setup.

2. The Printer Setup window will appear. Choose the printer that you would like to change the printer speed for. (Again this can only be modified for extended LABEL MATRIX printer driver. These are signified by the (X) to the left of the printer name.)

3. Click the Setup button.

4. Within the Printer Settings window, find either a Temperature or Darkness setting and increase the value. The location of this option will vary depending on the model of the printer that is selected, but the option should appear somewhere within the Printer Settings window. Additionally each printer has a maximum temperature setting and it is recommended to not go all the way to that temperature, as it could cause other label issues.

5. For this particular driver in the example, you need to click on the Temperature option on the top in order for the window to open below to adjust the temperature.

6. Once the temperature has been changed, click OK.

7. Any window that may pop up for Additional Options make sure to set accordingly and click OK. Then click OK on the Printer Setup window.

The label can now be printed again to see if the temperature change worked.

For steps on how to increase the darkness or temperature for non-LABEL MATRIX printer drivers, please contact the manufacturer of the specific printer driver in use.
