The Label Comparator is the easiest way to compare two labels created using CODESOFT and indicates any differences. The differences are grouped into 5 categories:
 

  • Objects or Data Sources which are present on Label A but are absent on Label B: These are Objects in Label A only or Data Sources in Label A only
  • Objects or Data Sources which are present on Label B but are absent on Label A: These are Objects in Label B only or Data Sources in Label B only
  • Objects or Data Sources which are present on both Label A and Label B but one or several properties were changed: These are Changed Objects or Changed Data Sources
  • Page Setup information that is different between Label A and Label B
  • Document Properties information that is different between Label A and Label B
1. Go to Tools and click on Configuration. You will find Label Comparator.  

2. You can select two labels and the press Compare. 

3. You will be returned with results in this similar format.
