This can only be done using a TEKLYNX internal driver for LABELVIEW/CODESOFT. The internal driver is noted by the printer icon to the left of the printer name. For more information about adding an internal driver click here.

1. Go to File and then choose Select Printer.

2. Click on the printer name you would like to rename. (Reminder: Internal drivers have the printer icon to the left of the printer name)

3. Click on the printer name a second time, a slow double-click, and the ability to edit the name should happen.

 

NOTE: In version 2021, the original name/manufacturer of the printer can be seen by hovering over the printer name. (Shown below)
