OVERVIEW
Fonts listed in LABELVIEW and CODESOFT have different icons to identify whether the fonts are graphic or printer resident.
GRAPHIC FONTS
The TT icon in front of font names within LABELVIEW/CODESOFT indicates that it is a TrueType font. A TrueType font comes from the Windows Font folder, which LABELVIEW looks at to see what fonts it can use. TrueType fonts send data to a printer as a graphic (image).
PRINTER RESIDENT FONTS
The printer icon in front of names within LABELVIEW indicates that it is a Printer Resident Font. A Printer Resident is a font downloaded directly to the printer. When using these fonts, data sent to the printer will be physical text, rather than graphic.
