NOTE: The EXT number and password can only be used when your license has 7 days or less remaining (for versions 2022 and older).
If your system does not allow use of the EXT number within this timeframe, you can instead extend your license by deactivating and reactivating it using your original serial number and password.
1. For single-user licenses, open License Manager. For network licenses, open the Network Toolbar.
You can do this by searching for License Manager or Network Toolbar in the Windows search bar.

NOTE: If you cannot find the Upgrade Manager/Wizard, navigate to Start > All Programs > Teklynx. For network versions, access it via a button on the Network Toolbar.
2. In License Manager, click Extend Subscription.
3. Enter the EXT Serial Number and Password provided with your subscription extension.
4. For network licenses, open the License Service Controller and confirm the service is running.
