NOTE: The EXT number and password can only be used when the serial number in your system has 7 days or less left on the license if its versions 2022 or older.
If your system doesn't allow you to use the EXT number and password within this timeframe, the 2nd option would be to extend by deactivating then reactivating using your base serial number and password.
1. For Single User licenses begin with opening the License Manager and for Network licenses open the Network Toolbar. This can be done by searching License Manager or Network Toolbar in the Windows Search Bar.
NOTE: If you cannot find the Upgrade Manager/Wizard in this location, look in Start > All Programs > Teklynx. In Network versions, the application is accessed via a button on the Network toolbar.
2. Once the License Manager is open, click the Extend subscription option.
3. A prompt will appear requesting a Serial Number and Password. Enter the EXT code and Password that you received with the subscription extension.
4. After doing the previous steps if you have a Network license, open the License Service Controller and make sure the service is running.
