I forgot my password. How can I reset it in the LABELVIEW/CODESOFT software?

Views:

1. Browse to the CS.ini located in C:\ProgramData\Teklynx\CODESOFT\Cs.ini

NOTE: For versions 2018 and lower, the software folder will include the version year.

2. Open the CS.ini file in Notepad.

3. Delete the line w2 or w3= [numeric code].

4. Click File > Save and close the file.

5. Launch CODESOFT or LABELVIEW.

6. Go to File > Enter Password.

7. Enter CODEPASS for the password and click OK.

8. Click Tools > Set password.

9. Enter the Current Password as CODEPASS.

10. Enter the new password in the New password field, or leave it blank to remove the password, and click Yes.
