Use this procedure to activate a TEKLYNX license on a computer that does not have internet access. This method generates a User Code from the offline computer and uses the TEKLYNX activation website to obtain the Validation Code and Installation Code required to complete activation.

NOTE: This is the preferred method for offline license activation.

IMPORTANT: You will need access to a second computer with internet access to complete the activation process.

Offline License Activation Using the TEKLYNX Website

1. Navigate to Start → All Apps → TEKLYNX [PRODUCT] and open the License Manager, or search for License Manager from the Windows taskbar.
2. Click Activate.
3. Enter your Serial Number and Password, then click Next.
4. Select Using our Website from the available activation methods, then click Next.

5. A screen containing a User Code will appear.
6. Copy the User Code and save it to a text file, print it, or record it for later use. If you record the code manually, verify all characters carefully because the code is alphanumeric and may contain similar-looking characters such as the number 0 and the letter O.

7. On a computer with internet access, browse to www.teklynx.eu/nsp.
8. Complete the company information fields as accurately as possible. This information may be used to help recover your serial number if it is lost.
9. Enter your Serial Number, Password, and the User Code from the offline computer.
10. Click Submit.

IMPORTANT: Do not click Submit more than once. It may take a minute for the website to generate the Validation Code and Installation Code.

11. Once generated, copy the Validation Code and Installation Code. Save, print, or otherwise record these codes so they can be entered on the offline computer.
12. Return to the offline computer and enter the Validation Code into the Validation Code field and the Installation Code into the Installation Code field.

13. Click Next, then click Finish to complete the activation.

What if my computer does not have internet access?

Use this offline activation process and complete the website steps from a separate computer that has internet access.

What is the User Code used for?

The User Code uniquely identifies the computer being activated and is required to generate the Validation Code and Installation Code.

What happens if I enter the User Code incorrectly?

The generated Validation Code and Installation Code may not work. Verify all characters carefully before submitting the User Code.

Can I click Submit multiple times on the activation website?

No. Submit the request only once and allow the website time to generate the activation codes.
