Use the steps below to deactivate a TEKLYNX software license before moving the license to another computer or activating it on a different system. Although this demonstration uses LABEL MATRIX, the same process applies to all supported TEKLYNX products.
Determine which licensing method you are using before proceeding:
- Single User License: Use License Manager.
- Network License: Open the Network Toolbar on the server or workstation hosting the network license, then click License Upgrade.
Deactivate a TEKLYNX License
1. Open License Manager for LABEL MATRIX, LABELVIEW, CODESOFT, or your installed TEKLYNX software.
2. Select Deactivate Software License.
3. Click OK to confirm that you want to deactivate the software license.
4. When the deactivation process completes successfully, click Finish.
