Version: All Versions

It is possible the Graphic fonts are being used in the label, which may cause a pause between printed labels.

True Type fonts are actually graphic fonts and take up more memory space than a printer resident font.

Printer Resident fonts are available within the selected field property sections. Changing the font to printer resident will cut down on the file size and decrease the amount of memory being used on the printer. (Printer Resident fonts can only be applied if a TEKLYNX extended driver is in use. To find out more information about how to set a TEKLYNX extended driver click here)

1. Another option, to lessen the amount of data being sent to the printer, is to File > Printer Setup.

2. Click on your driver or add one first if needed. To know if it's a TEKLYNX internal driver, you'll see a [X] in front of the name. Click on your printer driver and then click on "Setup..."

3. Select the Advanced tab and find the check box for Send Modified Data Only. This will stop the entire file from being sent to the printer every time and will only send the variable data that changes on the label. (This option can only be selected for the TEKLYNX extended driver)
