1. Navigate to File > Label Properties.

3. Click the Duplicates tab in the Label Properties window. 

4. Select Keyboard Input from the Origin drop-down list.

5. Name the Keyboard Input in the Variable field.

6. Enter a value in the Sample field. This can be any number.

7. Input the Prompt. This will be shown at print time.

8. Enter a Default value for the Keyboard Input.  This can be left blank if you do not want the field to have a default value.

9. Click OK.

10. Click the Print button. Leave the All option selected and click OK.

11. Enter the number of labels you want to print, click Print Labels, and then click Quit.

12. After the labels print, click No to cancel changes to the Keyboard Input value. This will reset the value to the default.  

13. If you do not want the Keep Changes message to appear after printing, navigate to Duplicates tab under File > Label Properties and click the Advanced button.

14. Select No from the Keep Changes drop-down and click OK.
