1. Go to Data Sources, select Database and choose Create/Edit Query.
2. If you already have your label connected to a database, skip to step 4. Otherwise, select the Data Source from the drop down menu. Then select the table and desired fields you want to include in the query.
3. Click on the 
button to the right of the Fields.
4. Choose to have the records sorted either Ascending or Descending.
5. Highlight the fields you want to sort and the order you wish to sort them in, if you want to sort multiple fields.
6. Click OK on the Sort window and then click OK again on the Query Definition window. Save the query.
