1. Add a formula with the name @SERIALQTY.

 

2.  In the formula box, type the name of the database variable. This will pull the number defined in the database and print that quantity. For this example, the column name is Quantity, so that is what was typed in.

When you go to print, the quantity will now be automatically set to the number in the selected record of your database.
