1. On the Windows taskbar, go to Start Computer to open the Windows Explorer window.
 
2. In Windows Explorer, navigate to the location of the Printer Backup files.
  • For Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Server 2003, this folder is located at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Teklynx\CODESOFT 2015. (Note: The Application Data folder is a “hidden” folder. Depending on the operating system, you may need to be logged in as the Administrator in order to view hidden files.)
  • For Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, and Windwos Server 2012 this folder is located at C:\ProgramData\Teklynx\CODESOFT 2015. (Note: The ProgramData folder is a “hidden” folder. Depending on the operating system, you may need to be logged in as the Administrator in order to view hidden files.)
3. Overwrite or replace the existing CS.ini and User.ini files with the corresponding files that are being restored.
 
4. On the Windows task bar, go to Start > All Programs > Teklynx > CODESOFT 2021 to launch CODESOFT. (CODESOFT  "2021" is an example of the latest version. Others will be CODESOFT "Edition")

NOTE: If the New Label Document wizard displays, click Finish to close the wizard.
 
5. From the open application, go to File > Select Printer to open the Select Printer window. Verify that the displayed printer list is correct.

The restoring of printer backup files is now complete.
