Product: LABEL MATRIX

Version: All Versions

This issue occurs when the setup of the label requires that each label must be sent to the printer individually.  Most often this is caused by incrementing numbers that are using TrueType fonts.  These fonts are sent as graphic information, and because graphics cannot be incremented, each label must be sent individually. The steps below have been found to be a solution to this issue, but require that a LABEL MATRIX Extended Driver (x) be used.

1. Changing the font on the incrementing number to a printer resident font will typically allow the software to send the entire job as a single batch. More information on changing text to printer resident font can be found here.

2. Enabling Send Modified Data Only is a final step that may resolve the issue. This option is also, only available when a LABEL MATRIX Extended driver (X) is in use.

3. To enable this option, choose, File and then Printer Setup

4. With the LABEL MATRIX Extended driver (X) selected, click on the Setup button.

5. The specific location of the Send Modified Data Only option will vary depending on the printer model; however, as long as the option is supported by the printer, it will be located within the Printer settings window.

Note: In some cases, the software must send information in a manner that will result in the print job displaying as 1 of 1 on the printer.  The recommendations made above are suggestions that can help resolve the issue; however, they cannot be guaranteed to work in all cases.
