When saving a label, a back up file of that label is created in the same directory the label currently resides in.
1. Navigate to the folder where label files are saved.
2. Right click on the *label name*.bak and click Properties.
3. A properties window will open with *label name*.bak in a text box. You will need to rename the label file.
4. To make the .bak file usable, change .bak to .lbl for LABELVIEW or .lab for CODESOFT.
5. Click OK.
7. Click Yes on the Rename message box.
Now the .bak file becomes usable and you may open and edit the file as needed.
