- The LABELVIEW Batch Converter is available for customers moving from LABELVIEW software to CODESOFT software. CODESOFT and LABELVIEW use different label file extensions, so LABELVIEW labels must be processed through the LABELVIEW Batch Converter in CODESOFT before they can be used correctly. If the labels are not converted, they must be recreated in CODESOFT.
- The LABELVIEW Batch Converter converts LABELVIEW 8 and LABELVIEW 9 labels into the CODESOFT label file extension, .lab. The converter allows multiple LABELVIEW 8 or LABELVIEW 9 files to be gathered and converted in a single batch. After conversion, the LABELVIEW labels can be opened in CODESOFT while retaining their original design.
- The batch converter is used for LABELVIEW version 9 and below. If you are using a newer version of LABELVIEW 9, open the label in CODESOFT by selecting File > Open. In the bottom-right corner of the Open window, change the file type to .lbl files. You can then select and open the .lbl file in CODESOFT. When you save the label in CODESOFT, it will be saved as a .lab file by default.
