- The LABELVIEW Batch Converter is available for customers who are moving from LABELVIEW software to the CODESOFT software. Since CODESOFT and LABELVIEW use different file extensions, LABELVIEW labels must be run through the LABELVIEW Batch Converter tool in CODESOFT for the labels to be used correctly. If you do not run the labels through the converter, the labels must be recreated in CODESOFT.
- The LABELVIEW Batch Converter is used to convert LABELVIEW 8 and LABELVIEW 9 labels into the CODESOFT label file extension, .lab. The LABELVIEW Batch Converter will allow you to gather all of the files from LABELVIEW 8 or 9 software and convert them all in a single batch so when you open a LABELVIEW label into CODESOFT, the label will open as it was designed in LABELVIEW.
- The batch converter tool is used for version 9 of LABELVIEW and below. If you are using a newer version of LABELVIEW 9, you will need to open the label documents by going to -File-Open-Change the file type in the bottom right corner to .lbl files. This will then allow you to choose an open a .lbl file in CODESOFT. Once you save it, it will be saved as .lab as default.
