Because the more recent version and some previous versions use common licensing components, installing that version on a computer that previously had the older version installed will result in a current version installation that does not include a valid trial period. If you wish to evaluate the current version in a trial period for 30 days, it is recommended that the latest version be installed and evaluated on a computer that did not previously have an older version installed. If this is not possible, please contact our Customer Service department at (414) 837-4800 for additional trial options.
NOTE: Any current version of the software is built on the same software platform as any version 9 or later. This means the two versions cannot coexist on the same computer.
For example, if version 2014 of LABELVIEW was installed on a computer that already had version 2012 installed, version 2012 was first removed/uninstalled. When attempting to install version 2014, without first removing 2012, the software displays a notification stating that the previous version will be uninstalled and deactivated (if the product was activated).
To roll back to your installation to the previous version, You must first uninstall version 2014. This can be easily be done through Windows Control Panel or by running the installation for the 2014 software again. Doing this will display a window that provides the option to Remove.
The previous version of the software can then be reinstalled using a download from our website.
Note: After re-installation of the previous version, you will be prompted to activate again with the licensing information you have for that version.
