1. Go to Tools and then select Configuration.

2. Find the Printing Tab.

3. Select from the Format dropdown for the option for the printing screen to open using. Click OK.

Format
Allows you to define the view mode of the print dialog box.

Different formats available:

  • Direct: Allows a single label to be printed without displaying the Print dialog box. 

  • Simple: Allows the Print dialog box to be viewed in simple mode, with the basic printing options.
    In this dialog box, the More button allows you to switch to Expanded mode.

  • Search in database: Allows you to display the Go to a record in a database dialog box.

  • Database query result: Allows you to display the Query result dialog box.

  • Infinite: This option is available if the Form has been configured to display during printing or if any Portwatch data source has been created.
    Print jobs are sent one-by-one in an infinite loop until the user presses “Cancel”.

NOTE: When one of the two database formats is enabled but the document is not connected to a database, the Simple dialog box is displayed when a print command is launched.

 

4. Go to File and then select Print or click the Print Icon to execute the printing Format selected.

     

5. Alternatively, if you click on the drop down arrow to the right of the Print icon you can select the Format for which the printer window will open. NOTE: Certain Formats are not selectable because the label is not using features associated with those print formats. ( No database is attached, so no searching or queries can be done )
