If not already done, enable the Data Sources box. Click View > Data sources. A box will appear on the right side of the screen listing your Data Sources previously created.
1. Add a When Printed by right clicking the 'when printed' Data Source and name the variable @serialqty.
2. Give the @serialqty a value of the ending result needed (eg. 100).
3. Add an Advanced by right clicking the 'Advance' Data Source and give a name for the variable (eg. "Starting Number). This variable is for the starting number of the box counter. Check the checkbox on the Input tab Restore after printing and put your desire value in the box (eg. 1).
4. In the Advanced variable click the Output tab on the left hand-side. In Suffix place a space and the word Of.
5. In the advanced variable click the Counter tab on the left hand-side. Check the Counter check box. In the Min Value box place a starting number (1) and set the Maximum value desired.
6. On the Data Sources box, click and hold each variable and drag and drop them onto the label.
