1. Click the Add Text button. Alternatively, navigate to Insert > Text.

2. From the Data tab of the Text Properties window, change the data Origin to Combination.

3. Click the Other button.

4. Select the Date function category from the Expression Piece window. Click OK.

5. Select Extended Date. Click OK. The Extended Date expression will appear in the Expression box.

6. Replace the sample data. This formula needs the following information: "Date Format"Offset Data, "+/- Date Interval", and Adjust For Daylight Saving Time.

a. "Date Format" ("mm/dd/yyyy") specifies the date format to use and must be surrounded with quotation marks. 
b. Offset Data (4) - This specifics the amount by which to offset the date.
c. "+/- Date Interval" ("+d") - The interval to offset the date, where d = day, m = month, and y = year. The + and - should be used to indicate positive and negative offsets. This value must be surrounded with quotation marks.
d. Adjust For Daylight Saving Time (1) - Enter 1 if you want the date to adjust for Daylight Saving Time, and enter 0 if you do not want the date to adjust for Daylight Saving Time. 

7. Click Place, and click anywhere on the label to add the offset date.
